St Paul's Reverse Advent Calendar Food Box

Once again, St. Paul's UMC is lending our support to the individuals and families served by Northwest Family Foods with our Reverse Advent Calendar project this December. Participants will put a large box or plastic bin in a prominent place in their home and add a donation item from the Reverse Advent Calendar list every day from December 1 through Christmas Day. As you add each item, you may say a prayer, such as: "May this (item) be a blessing, both in the giving and to those who receive it. May it bring the light of love into the darkness of winter to meet the needs of our neighbors. Amen." 

We also encourage you to decorate the box or bin with hopeful messages and/or holiday-themed designs/drawings/stickers as desired.

Bring your filled box to St. Paul’s on one of the following days: December 24 & 31 and January 7.

Once all the boxes are at St. Paul's, Northwest Family Foods will come by to pick them up.
