Love, Joy, Peace...

Ongoing Collection in July

August 2nd is Vermont Kindness Day where Vermonters near and far do a good deed. For the past few years, we have been asking Vermonters to show that kindness does indeed happen in the “802” area!

This year we are asking Vermonters to contribute to a local food shelf with the goal of collecting 802 pounds of food. Food shelves all over Vermont are in desperate need of everyday meals, such as cereals, canned meats, mayo, peanut butter, pasta etc. Please consider helping out with the 802 POUNDS OF KINDNESS FOOD DRIVE!

In the Bishop Street hallway there is a box to put your food donations in.  Monetary donations may also be accepted, please see Deb Begnoche if you would like to donate that way. For every $20.00 you can feed a family for a day.  Monetary donations will be used to purchase food items.

You will see food donation boxes at Hometown (store across from BFA), Cityside, Peoples Trust (main branch), here at St Paul’s, and at the Museum. PLEASE consider contributing to Kindness Day!
